How did your earlier career choices lead you to where you are today?

I started my career in health policy research but quickly learned I wanted to have a more immediate impact on care delivery so I obtained a Masters in Healthcare Administration and joined Providence as an Administrative Fellow. I was allowed the opportunity to project manage some major initiatives (such as an organizational restructure to create a freestanding children’s hospital, implementation of an OB Emergency Department, etc.) while in that role and have grown with Providence since.
